About Elsa

Helping Women Heal Emotionally, Grow Spiritually, and Become Whole.

My name is Elsa J. Londoño, and I believe healing is possible.

For more than fifteen years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through some of life's most difficult seasons. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, speaker, and faith-driven leader, my passion is helping women move beyond survival and into the freedom, confidence, and wholeness God created them to experience.

My work lives at the intersection of clinical mental health and biblical truth. I believe lasting transformation happens when emotional healing and spiritual formation work together — not separately. Whether through therapy, speaking, coaching, or the pages of my books, my desire is to help women break unhealthy patterns, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen their relationship with God, and become who He has always called them to be.

Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about becoming who you were created to be all along.

My Story

My journey into this work didn't begin in a classroom. It began in seasons of waiting, disappointment, unanswered prayers, and learning to trust God when life looked nothing like I expected.

Like many of the women I now serve, I know what it feels like to question your worth, grieve what didn't happen, wrestle with fear, and wonder if healing is really possible. I also know the quiet work God does in those hidden seasons — the places where character is formed, faith is refined, and hope begins to grow again.

Those experiences shaped not only my personal faith, but also the way I practice as a clinician. They taught me that emotional health and spiritual maturity are deeply connected, and that true healing addresses both the heart and the mind.

Today, I have the privilege of helping women recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, establish life-giving boundaries, heal from emotional wounds, and move forward with wisdom, confidence, and trust in God.

My greatest desire is that every woman who encounters my work leaves believing this truth:

You are not behind.

You are not forgotten.

You are becoming.

Why I Wrote This Book

I remember the day I told God, "I know You love me, but do You really care about me?" He answered by telling me to write this book. I've journaled almost daily for years — those pages are where I talk to God through my pen. When I finally went back and read them, I saw three things at once: the woman I was, the woman I was becoming, and the God who stayed constant through every version of me.

I've been divorced for nine years. Every relationship I hoped would become the marriage I prayed for has ended. Somewhere in the waiting, I stopped asking whether God loved me and started discovering that He had been caring for me all along — even in the seasons I felt forgotten. I wrote this book from the intersection of my journals, my clinical training as a therapist, and the slow, unglamorous work of being healed while I was still hoping. Not after the healing was finished. In the middle of it.

I believe God asked me to share my struggles because you and I have more in common than we realize. If you're still waiting and quietly wondering if God will come through — this book is for you. The waiting is not wasted time. The pain is not punishment. And grief is not proof that God failed you. Sometimes what feels like loss is God making space for something better.

Waiting can become becoming. Becoming can lead to healing. And healing can become your proof that God can be trusted — not because He always gives us what we want, but because He stays with us even when He doesn't.
